Well i recently downloaded several mods for Battlefield 1942.

1. Desert Combat @ www.Desertcombat.com or @ www.gamershell.com

This is a Mod based off of the Desert Storm conflict in the middle east I give it a 4 out of 5.

2. Battlefield 1918 @ www.gamershell.com

This is a mod based off of WWI.  If you like single shot weapons and trench war fare this mod is for you.  4 out of 5

3. Galactic Conquest @ www.gamershell.com

This is a mod based off of Star Wars.  Some of the vehicles need some work done on it and they still use knives instead of light sabers.  3 out of 5

4. DCX (Desert Combat Extended) and all its expansions (RTR, and SW) this is a large addition, it honostly doesnt change it a whole lot and often the already long load times will increase.  2 out of 5

5. Battlefield Pirates.  This game is still in it's early stage and has a lot of potential, but some of the problems include the guns having 99 clips, no falling damage, and no variety in the unit classes.  1 out of 5
